Information on out-of-court dispute resolution
The Bank participates in dispute resolution proceedings of the German cooperative banking group. For the resolution of disputes with the Bank, private clients, corporate clients and, in the case of the rejection of an application for the conclusion of a basic account contract, non-clients have the option of recourse to the ombudsman for the cooperative banking group (http://www.bvr.de/de/Service/Kundenbeschwerde).
Further information can be found in the "Code of Procedure for Out-of-Court Settlement of Customer Complaints concerning the German Cooperative Banking Group", which can be made available upon request. The complaint must be submitted in text form (e.g. by way of letter, fax or e-mail) to Customer Complaints at the National Association of German Cooperative Banks - BVR, Schellingstrasse 4, 10785 Berlin, Fax: 030 2021-1908, E-Mail: kundenbeschwerdestelle@bvr.de.
Should the object of the complaint concern a dispute within the scope of payment services law (§§ 675c to 676c of the German Civil Code, Art. 248 Introductory Act to the German Civil Code, § 48 Payment Account Act and provisions of the Payment Services Supervision Act), the complaint may also be submitted to the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
German law shall apply to the use of the DZ BANK AG websites.If the user of the websites is a business and if the business relationship in dispute is attributable to the operation of this business, Frankfurt am Main shall be the place of jurisdiction; the same applies to legal entities under public law and public-law special funds (öffentlich-rechtliches Sondervermögen).This agreement on the place of jurisdiction shall also apply to users of the websites who conduct a comparable trade or business abroad and to foreign institutions which are comparable to domestic legal entities under public law or a public-law special fund (öffentlich-rechtliches Sondervermögen).
